ABOUT
Hi!
I'm Samantha, a qualified Dietitian & Nutritionist and a Certified Yoga Teacher.
I have been dedicated to my yoga practice since 2011 and it was through this journey that I developed a passion for nutrition and a desire to help others.
Since completing my studies, I have predominately been working in Community Public Health Nutrition developing and delivering programs to build strong foundations of healthy eating within communities. I have mostly worked in the non-profit sector where I developed in-depth awareness in food insecurity. I am very passionate about sustainability and helping our planet and want to contribute to make changes in both of these systems for a better future.
I don't believe in 'diets', cutting out whole food groups (unless needed due to a diagnosed condition) or restricting yourself of the foods you love. I value BALANCE - I eat for both nourishment and pleasure, drink wine on weekends and stay active through movement I love such as hiking, running, snowboarding, yoga and the occasional Crossfit.
"I believe in integrating nutrition and yoga to form a healthy balanced lifestyle. The healthy choice should be the easy choice. I am here to help make it easy."
